The "scope of services" provided by certified Medical-Fitness Technicians is generally limited to meeting the otherwise UNMET needs of sedentary and exercise averse or exercise intolerant individuals.
Exercise Averse means having a strong dislike or opposition to physical activity. It's not about being physically unable to exercise, but rather a negative attitude or lack of motivation towards engaging in any kind of physical exertion.
Exercise Intolerance is a condition of inability or decreased ability to perform physical exercise at the normally expected level or duration for people of that age, size, gender, and muscle mass. It also includes experiences of unusually severe post-exercise pain, fatigue, nausea, vomiting or other negative effects.
