Push-Ups

Push-Up Instructions:
Modify as needed:
- Hands on the ground shoulder-width apart
- Body and legs straight with only the balls of the feet (males) or the knees (females) on the floor
- Start with the arms extended
- Lower the chest and thighs almost to the point of touching the floor
- The body remains rigid
- The elbows move closer to the hips than the shoulders
- Return to the starting position
- Complete at full arm extension
Modify as needed:
- Only descend to the point of being able to comfortably push back up
- Do incline push-ups by placing your hands on a bench or against a wall
- Use a split stance in the incline push-up position and use the bent leg to assist the arm extension
